Policies and Rules for Intrigue 2026
Event Rules
Age: Registered Attendees must be 21 years of age or older, at the time of the beginning of the event to attend Intriugue.
Animals: No animals will be allowed into the event space or hotel rooms with the exception of service animals.
If you do require the assistance of a service animal please let the Intrigue staff know asap prior to the event.
Alcohol, Smoking and Drugs: No alcohol, illegal drugs or substances
are allowed in the event space.
If anyone is noticably intoxicated or
under the influce of any substances you will be removed from the event
space and asked to leave.
There is no smoking, including e cigarettes and vaping, in the event
space, or the hotel rooms. If you would like to smoke, you would need
to step outside of the hotel.
Cell Phones, Electronics, Photography, or Recording Devices:
No cameras of any kind - cell phone,digital, film or any other -
recording or electronic equipment of any kind is allowed in the event
space.
We do understand that there are reasons people would need to keep their
cell phones with them, and we do ask that you leave the event space to
take or make a phone call, message or other activity.
Please turn off all location identifiers on your cell phones. We
also ask that no pictures identifying the hotel be taken in the rooms
or any of the hallways.
IMAS and Intrigue organizers keep the privacy, confidentiality, and safety of the events attendees at high importance.
Consent:
Consent is expected of all attendees. Consent must be
an enthusiastic yes. No means no. If any party says no, then the
scene or activity will be immediately stopped.
If there is no yes, and also no, no....there is no consent.
Etiquette and Manners: Basic Common Sense, Behavior and Etiquette is expected of attendees.
Be respectful of all presenters and other attendees and do not
interfere with the classes or others enjoyment of the event and
activities.
If you disagree with a class, presenter or another attendee, we ask that you remove yourself from the situation.
If you feel that you are being treated inappropriately, or are the
recipient of non-consensual behavior, please find a member of staff
immediately.
Event Staff:
can be identified by their nametags. If you have any urgent needs
please notify a member of the event staff as soon as possible.
Hotel: Attendees will be paying the hotel directly for their rooms.
If anyone does any damage to the hotel, hotel property, hotel
equipment, they will be held personally responsible and will be
responsible for any and all damage that occurs as a result in any way
of your actions.
Illegal Activities:
Any activities that are illegal in the State of Indiana and also the
USA are illegal in the event space, hotel and hotel property.
There will be no soliciation, prostitution, or exchanging of money or items for services of any kind.
Merchants/Vendors:
Only those vendors contracted with Intrigue may sell products at this
event in the vendor area. Any other sales done from cars, hotel
rooms, or on the hotel property in any location, is prohibited.
Name Badges and Wrist Bands:
All attendees must wear their namebadge and wristband at all times
while in the Event Space and hotel floors directly accessible to the
event space.
Name Badges may not be shared and your ID must match the information on
your registration. Name Badges are not to be shared or
transferred under any circumstance.
Play: We will have open play space time, each evening with furniture available for your scenes.
Any fire, wet or messy play be conducted in the tarped area for these
types of scenes. These scenes are not allowed in other parts of
the playspace and also not allwoed in the hotel rooms.
Some play is not allowed, in the play space, and also not allowed in your hotel room includes:
golden showers (urine) brown showers or scat (feces)
rainbow/roman showers (vomit), blood play or any intentional breaking
of the skin - including needles, scalpels, knives, branding - breath
play.
Tickets: All tickets are non transferrable. Registration must be paid for prior to the event.
Anyone violating any of these rules
will be asked to leave or escorted from the event without refund of
their registration fees or hotel fees.
In addition to removal from the event, bans may also be given to the offending individuals.
You will be signing a waiver prior to entering the event agreeing to these rules.
