INDY2024 Event Rules

Please read through both pages of the rules; the Event Rules on this page, the Play Space Rules, and the Photography Rules.

By purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to these Rules.

After reading these rules, if you have further questions, please e-mail the event coordinators. If you have questions about the Rules during the event - please see the Manager on Duty (MOD), a Play Space Monitor and/or any IMAS Staff member (with a pink badge).

Age
This IMAS Event is open to adults, 19 years old (on the first day of the event) or older. A valid government issued ID is required for entrance and registration to any IMAS Event or Party. NO ID = NO Entry; No Exceptions.

Alcohol/Drug Policy
No alcohol, illegal drugs, illegal substances and/or firearms may be brought into the IMAS Event Space. Anyone who is noticeably affected by either alcohol or drugs will be refused admittance or asked to leave by the IMAS Staff.

Animals
No real animals of any kind are permitted in any area of the IMAS Event. However, animal and age related role-playing is perfectly acceptable.

Armbands/Badges
All attendees of the IMAS Event will be required to wear an armband and name badge at all times. The name badge may be removed for play while within the play-space. The "play-space exception" is the only exception to this rule - so be sure to always wear your name badge and allow it to be visible while within the IMAS Event Space.
Your name badge and wristband are required for entry - take good care of the ones you have - if your badge has to be replaced... there will be a $10.00 replacement charge. Wristbands are NOT replaceable.

Attire/Clothing/Dress Code
All attendees must dress in both a "street legal" and an appropriate manner when not in the IMAS Event areas of the hotel. If you have to ask if something is inappropriate - it probably is. During the IMAS Event, within the Social Area, there will be an area with a clothes rack and hangers, to allow you to change into whatever you want to wear (including nothing!). However, other hallways, the parking lot, the hotel lobby, local businesses/restaurants, etc... are not part of the IMAS Event and vanilla behavior and attire are required.

Behavior
Please refrain from behaviors that interfere with the presenters' classes. Please refrain from behavior that interferes with another's enjoyment of this IMAS Event. If you feel you are the subject of rude, inappropriate or nonconsensual behavior, please notify IMAS Staff.

Cellular Phones & Cameras
The use of cell phones (with or without a camera) is not allowed. Please leave your phone in your hotel room or car. Cell phones and cameras will be confiscated, and the offender ejected from the IMAS Event. please read entire photography policy here.

Cleaning Supplies
There are tables with cleaning supplies throughout the play-space and the event. We also have included pumps for water-free hand sanitizing. Please clean up after using any equipment, spills or mishaps. If there is anything that appears to be a larger mess - please let the IMAS Staff know immediately.

Common Sense
These rules apply to everyone. Negative behavior may effect us all, and after all - we want to continue to have bigger and bigger events in the area. We ask for mutual respect from the vanillas, let us do the same for them.

Damage to the Hotel
Please be cautious of Hotel property - to include hotel structures, walls, furniture, appliances, fixtures, etc. You will be held personally responsible for any and all damage that occurs as a direct or indirect result of your actions.

Discretion
We know that this is exciting and it is easy to get swept up in the energy! However, please be aware that not everyone you encounter outside the Event area has an interest in Kink. Please be respectful of vanilla folks within the local establishments you patronize during your INDY2024 Experience. Safety and discretion of the Event participants is paramount. If this is jeopardized, the offending person will be immediately ejected from the Event and banned from further IMAS Events or functions.

Edge Play
Please inform a play space monitor (PSM), or any member of the IMAS Staff prior to any extreme play, rough play, abductions, or any other scene that appears dangerous or non-consensual. If, as an observer, you see play that appears dangerous or non-consensual, please do not interrupt the scene. Rather, ask the PSM or any IMAS Staff member to investigate the scene. In fact, if you have questions about ANY behaviors or scenes at the Event, ask any IMAS Staff member for clarification and information. Remember, at an IMAS Event, there is no purposeful/intentional puncturing of the skin permitted.

Please bring any emergencies (medical or otherwise) to the immediate attention of a PSM or IMAS Staff member.

Etiquette
This is a Pansexual Kink event, meaning there is minimal protocol. However, mutual respect is the standard. Please utilize the golden rule - Treat others as you would like to be treated in a similar situation. Food & Drink
There will be snacks, along with coffee and water provided in the social area, and throughout the day in the central hallway area. Please do not take snacks or beverages (other than water) into the play-space.

Gender Policy
IMAS is committed to being an inclusive, safe, welcoming and positive space for people of any gender orientation or sexual preference. The entire event is classified as pansexual and "all gender friendly". Please respect everyone's gender self-identification. If you are not sure about how someone prefers to be referred to, ask politely.

Hotel Staff & Public Areas
The Host Hotel has accommodated our event - let us return the respect. Hotel staff are not part of the event, and may be offended by open displays of sexuality or kink. Please treat them as vanillas with courtesy and respect. Please do not display or "test" toys - floggers, whips, other implements of WIITWD outside of the IMAS Event Area. Please be respectful - we would like to have this event again.

Illegal Activities
Anything that is against the law in the state of Indiana, or the USA, is still illegal in the IMAS Event Areas and the host hotel. This includes solicitation, prostitution, negotiation of payment for play or sexual services, use or sale of illegal substances, etc.. Furthermore, even though not illegal, there are no firearms allowed within the confines of IMAS Events. IMAS will not knowingly admit to membership, events, or meetings any individual who has been convicted of a sexual crime and/or is a registered sex offender in any jurisdiction.

Lost & Found
If you have found an item that is not yours, please drop it off at the registration desk. If you have lost an item, please check the registration area at regular intervals.

Managers/Manager on Duty
INDY2024 will have a Manager On Duty (MOD) from 5pm on Friday until 3 am on Sunday. If you have any issues or problems, please inform the registration volunteers that you would like to speak with the MOD.

Photography Policy
There will be a photographer as a vendor. This photographer will only be taking kinky commissioned portraits. There is no other photography permitted in the IMAS Event space. This policy extends to any form of electronically or film recorded media. Confidentiality is imperative and allows for events like this IMAS convention to be safe spaces for people who are seeking their bliss. Please respect this guideline. Cell phones and cameras will be confiscated, and the offender ejected from the event.

Smoking areas
There is No Smoking inside the Event area. There are available smoking areas on the hotel property. These area indicated on your event maps inside the brochure. Indiana law prohibits smoking in the common areas of the hotel. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes (e-cigs), personal vaporizers (PV) and electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS).

Tickets, Refunds & Transfers
No one will be permitted, under any circumstances, to enter the IMAS Event area without a previous registration. There are no ticket sales, exchanges, refunds, substitutions, etc. at the event site by anyone for any reason. Refunds will be given until February 12, 2024. After midnight February 12, 2024 there will be no refunds offered. Registration transfers are prohibited and will not be allowed for any reason.

Vending
Vending from cars, hotel rooms, hallways, hotel lobby or other event/hotel locations is not permitted and unauthorized vendors will be removed from the event and hotel properties. Only approved IMAS vendors may sell anything on the hotel property the weekend of the event and only from the vendor areas.

Volunteers
